          Evis Xheneti Shaffer (born 22 August 1979) is an American actress.

          Biography

          She was born in Tirana, Albania to two accountants who later divorced in 1993. As a child, she learned fluent Italian by the age of 8.

          In 1995, she moved to Los Angeles with her mother and younger sister. After living in Los Angeles for a year, Evis and her family moved to New York City in 1996 because her mother found work there. She remained in New York City for 4 years.

          While there, she began studying acting while still in high school at The Lee Strasberg Institute.
