          Dr. Pe-Pua's research focuses on acculturation, cultural diversity and cross-cultural issues, migration policy, migrant settlement, ethnic youth, racism, indigenous psychology, Asian psychology, Filipino psychology, and research methodology.

          In addition to her position as a Senior Lecturer and Head of School at the School of Social Science and Policy, she acts as the co-ordinator of Postgraduate Research Courses for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of New South Wales.

          She was a member on the Illawarra Regional Advisory Council of the Community Relations Commission from 2002-2004.
